Why I built it
I built IB Atlas because my own recruiting prep lived across PDFs, AI chats, market tabs, notes, and a networking spreadsheet. I wanted one place where those workflows could connect without pretending that another tool had the one correct path.
I am an undergraduate going through recruiting, not a banker or a prep expert. The project demonstrates how I use AI-assisted development, product design, data, and iteration to solve a problem I understand firsthand. I own the product decisions, architecture, prompt and evaluation design, QA, and deployment; AI coding tools have contributed materially to the implementation.
That distinction matters. Atlas can help you organize material and rehearse ideas, but its feedback is not a real interviewer assessment and it cannot predict an interview or offer. Anything important should be checked against original sources and discussed with people you trust.
How the beta is being built
Organization before authority
Atlas connects study, practice, market reading, and networking workflows. It does not replace original sources, mentors, or your own judgment.
AI, described plainly
Third-party AI models support some feedback, summaries, and research assistance. They are useful tools, not bankers or hiring decision-makers, and they can be wrong.
Built from a student problem
The product started because one student's recruiting prep was scattered across PDFs, chat threads, news tabs, and spreadsheets.
Claims need evidence
We do not promise interviews or offers. Product metrics and outcome claims will only be published when their definitions and evidence can be shown.
The public-beta contract
- Access: the full workspace is free through at least December 31, 2026. No card is required.
- Fair use: AI-heavy actions have limits so the shared beta stays available. Limits reset automatically and are not an upsell.
- Notice: any later material change to access or data use will be communicated clearly before it takes effect.
- Accountability: report a wrong answer, stale source, privacy concern, or billing issue to support@ibatlas.com.
